So, reading the news today in my down time I come across this article (http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/reuters/081112/canada/canada_us_fat) and I just about lost my fucking mind. Basically, this gang member was arrested, charged and convicted of his crimes. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison and served 26 months of that because he was too fat to fit in the chair and bed provided to him. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – why the fuck should we care about these people and their comforts? They didn’t care enough about the rest of society to obey the laws and they certainly didn’t care about how much they were going to cost tax payers via the justice system. Fuck ‘em. (And yes, I do make exceptions on a case by case basis.)
So tubby is too fat to lie on a prison bed? Guess that you’ll have to lose some weight. What part of “punishment” don’t you understand? You did something wrong and now you’re paying for it. I don’t remember being spanked by my parents and thinking “gee...this is actually pretty comfy.” I remember my ass stinging and that sensation coming back to mind every time I was about to do it again. Get the fuck over it, you useless waste of oxygen. Seriously, it is abortion buckets like yourselves who are making people scared to let their children out of the house.
Why should you be comfortable when the very knowledge of your existence makes good, law-abiding people uncomfortable? Justify this to me you bloated, gang banger. Tell me why YOU have the right to comfort after showing a blatant disregard for the law while I am refused the freedom to feel secure in my own community.
I forgot. In this country, we don’t believe in punishing the wicked or in protecting the weak. We let people who are legitimately dangerous walk free, instead choosing to put more locks on our doors and stay in the house to protect ourselves. We CHOOSE to become prisoners because those who should be imprisoned have rights greater than our own. Rather than telling our government that this is unacceptable, we sit on our thumbs when it comes time to vote for leaders who would affect change. Feel ashamed. Feel very ashamed.
