Well...what can you do?

I'm taking a moment from my usual ranting, bitching and complaining to do something a little more real. Don't worry...this won't last.

Last Thursday I gave notice on my job. Yes, it's true, I was looking forward to getting into a position where the hours were better and the pay was better. This job had its short-comings and frustrations, but there are people here who I love to bits and will miss a lot. Believe it or not, my boss is one of them. The owner is another. Telling all of my friends here that I'm leaving, that was easy. Telling the boss and the owner, that was heart-breaking. It felt more like a friendly break-up than it did a resignation. I felt like I was saying that it wasn't going to work out because I needed to focus on my career! It was really strange and surreal. I'm going to miss this place.
