SO....it came to my attention today that apparently the majority of people out there (in cyberspace and the real world) believe that everything should be sugar-coated lest it offend their fragile sensibilities. Not just political correctness, but subtlety to the point of being obtuse; a brazen disregard for the message in favour of the message.
Okay, I get it. Some words offend some people. They're fucking words though. They only have the power to be offensive if you choose to be offended. Cunt, nigger, fuck, rose, table, douche bag, whore, present, chocolate, puppy, cum-bubble. They're words. Get over them. Would it be better if I used words from a foreign language? Maybe. But I won't. I'm not so insecure that I have to censor myself. But there are those of you out there who feel that the world has to be sensitive to how fragile you are. We have to be careful to dip every word we say in chocolate and smother it in whip cream lest it hurt your feelings. To you I say FUCK YOU.
Seriously, the truth from some asshole stranger like myself bothers you so much that you think that you have the right to infringe on my right to free speech? I've got a new right for you. The right of my foot to find your ass, you whining, muling, worthless, cum-bubble that slipped a little too far. I'm talking to you - the people who think that people should be apologetic for sharing their opinions because they disagree with what you think.
The next time you think to tell someone "don't use that word" or even think to yourself "I shouldn't have used that word," think for a second. Think about how you're ready to tread on someone else's right, how you're about to threaten your own rights. Think about what that says about you. You're so insecure that you have to keep someone else down just to feel better about yourself.
Remember, sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.
